The Theology of Christ, from His Own Words
2025년 새해부터, 교회 영어예배부 헬퍼팀에서 다시 활동한다. 1년 정도 쉬었나 보다.
새해 1월부터는 굳게 마음을 먹고, 매주 예배전 <영어성경모임>과 매달 3째주 예배후 <Bible Story Class>에 합류하기로 한다. 예습으로 영어 본문도 미리 읽고 필사도 하며, 쉬지 않고 꾸준히 하려고 한다. 성경과 영어 공부를 동시에 할 수 있어서 더욱 좋다.
주일이면, 하루가 참 분주하다.
09~10시 한국어예배,
10~11시 교구모임 중,
10시 30분 서둘러 영어예배실이 있는 5층으로 올라온다.
◐ 예배 직전 열리는 <영어성경모임>은 매주 한국인 헬퍼들이 모여 공부하는 시간, 물론 외국인 성도들도 종종 참석한다. 30분간, 500호 소모임방에서 진행된다. 교재 <The Theology of Christ, from His Own Words> 를 함께 읽는다.
믿음 신실하고 영어 잘하는 한권사님이 인도, 본문과 한국어 번역본, 관련 성경구절까지 더해 매주 프린트물을 나누어 준다. 영어로 진행되는데, 돌아가며 교재 본문과 성경구절을 읽고, 자세한 설명을 듣고 주어진 질문에 답하며 함께 이야기를 나누는 시간이다. 한국인 헬퍼팀이 아니라도, 누구든지 참석할 수 있다.
답답한 마음에 한국말도 자꾸만 튀어나오지만, 상관없이 자유롭게 생각을 나누는데 집중한다.
◐ 예배 후에는, 매달 첫째 주 <Bible Study Class>, 둘째 주 <Korean Class>, 셋째 주 <Bible Story Class>는 외국인을 대상으로 열리는 클래스다. 한국인 헬퍼들도 열심히 참석한다. 12시 영어예배 끝나면, 교회에서 제공된 간단 점심을 먹고, 12:30~13:30까지 502호에서 돌아가며 클래스가 열린다.

※ 500호 소모임방에서 진행되었던 모든 클래스는 참여인원이 많아져 25년 3월부터 502호 넓은 예배당에서 열린다.
※ 영어예배부 예배와 성경공부 등 모든 프로그램은 외국인, 한국인, 교회성도, 비성도라도, 누구나 참석 가능하다.

This book was originally published prior to 1923, and represents a reproduction of an important historical work, maintaining the same format as the original work.
While some publishers have opted to apply OCR (optical character recognition) technology to the process, we believe this leads to sub-optimal results (frequent typographical errors, strange characters and confusing formatting) and does not adequately preserve the historical character of the original artifact. We believe this work is culturally important in its original archival form.
While we strive to adequately clean and digitally enhance the original work, there are occasionally instances where imperfections such as blurred or missing pages, poor pictures or errant marks may have been introduced due to either the quality of the original work or the scanning process itself.
Despite these occasional imperfections, we have brought it back into print as part of our ongoing global book preservation commitment, providing customers with access to the best possible historical reprints.
