모든 이들이 너를 의심할 때 스스로 자신을 믿을 수 있다면,

If you can trust yourself when all man doubt you...

기다릴 수 있고 기다림에 지치지 않을 수 있다면,

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting

거짓을 당해도 거짓과 거래하지 않고

미움을 당해도 미움에 굴복하지 않는다면,

Or being lied about, don't deal in lies...

Or being hated, don't give way to hating,

꿈을 꾸되 꿈의 노예가 되지 않을 수 있다면,

If you can dream--and not make dreams your master...

네 일생을 바쳐 이룩한 것이 무너져 내리는 걸 보고

허리 굽혀 낡은 연장을 들어 다시 세울 수 있다면,

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
